Our Story
Move My Steel Inc. was founded on a simple observation: the steel industry runs on tight
schedules, and most general freight carriers aren’t built to keep up with them. Steel is heavy,
awkward to secure, and unforgiving of delays. A late coil can idle a stamping press; a missing
plate shipment can stop a fabrication shop cold.
We set out to be the carrier that steel buyers, mills, service centers, and fabricators can count
on — a specialist that treats every shipment with the urgency and care it deserves. Today, Move
My Steel is a dedicated flatbed operation serving Northern Illinois, Southern Wisconsin, Eastern
Iowa, and the greater Chicago Metro area with same-day and next-day delivery.
